RoHS Compliance

As from 1. July 2006, AMBER wireless only sells products which do comply with the requirements of the 2002/95/EC Directive concerning the Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). WEEE Directive

The Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Union on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) prescribes specific criteria for the collection, handling and recycling of electric and electronic waste. In accordance with European Standard EN 50419, AMBER wireless products that are subject to the WEEE directive are marked with the "crossed-out wheeled bin" symbol for items shipped from AMBER wireless on or after August 13, 2005.
