The BlueNiceCom 5 module (BNC5) is a completely integrated Bluetooth solution, comprising a RF transceiver, microcontroller, ceramic antenna and a fully implemented software protocol stack. The BNC5 is an embedded Class 2 module with an integrated antenna and a range of approximately 60 m (LOS).

The low cost of the module makes it particularly well-suited for large volume production. BNC5 is a qualified Bluetooth 2.1+EDR product. Ease of integration The BNC5 provides a serial UART interface for integration into a system / device. It features a configurable connection setup, which can be set to reduce connection setup time or to minimize power consumption.

The BlueNiceCom IV module enables OEMs and designers to easily add wireless Bluetooth communication to their products without the need for RF and antenna design expertise.

• Serial Port Profile (SPP). For wireless cable replacement applications. ~300 kbps sustained SPP net data rate.
